Mablethorpe and District Motor Club organise this event on their most local venue.............Manby Airfield.
The inaugural event was held in 2006 and has formed the first round of the Association of North East Midlands Motor Clubs (ANEMMC) championship. The 2008 event was part of both the ANEMMC championship and the East Midlands Association of Motor Clubs (EMAMC) championship.
Why Bill Cammack?
Bill Cammack was one of the founder members of Mablethorpe and District Motor Club and worked tirelessly to ensure that our club had the grounding it does today. What better way to honour our former president than to acknowledge his efforts by naming this event after him. An event we believe he would have been proud to be associated with.

Type of Event
This is a no-nonsense, single venue stage rally, utilising the concrete and tarmac of the remaining runways and perimeter tracks of Manby airfield. Chicanes, built from bales and tyres, are used to provide breaks in the long straights and to make critical areas (e.g. merges) safer. Depending on the weather prior to the event there may be standing water and a full water splash to contend with. The aim is to provide a good test for the clubman driver while allowing safe conditions for the ’flamboyant’ driver.
Normally run over eight stages, four being run in a anti-clockwise direction and four clockwise in the afternoon, the total stage mileage is about 40 miles. Cars usually start at 30 second intervals.
Servicing is normally in the central ’parade ground’ area on tarmac which affords service crews the opportunity of watching their car in action as the live stage winds around the outside of the service park.
Marshalling
Mablethorpe and District Motor Club welcomes any marshals that are willing to help out. A ‘goody bag’ is provided and all competitors are asked to contribute to the ‘marshal’s draw’.

Spectating
As the whole of the venue is used for the stages, there is no entry to the airfield. Be warned, parking on the B1200 may result in your vehicle being ticketed or removed by the police.
